Spartanburg Meat Processing is a USDA inspected & approved meat-processing facility located in Spartanburg, SC. Our plant (USDA# 21010) was established in 1999. We currently cook pork products as our primary commodityAs a WBE Woman Owned Business, we have an equal opportunity program in place with approximately 25 employees. Furthermore, we are also a HACCP approved facility. We service the entire continental U. S., including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Our customers include foodservice vendors such as Sysco, US Foodservice, Aliant and Merchants Distributors, Inc. Among the restaurant chains, our customers include Ground Round, Hilltop Steakhouse, Ryan's Family Restaurant and Western Sizzlin'. We also prouldly provide our products to the U. S. Military. Our products include pork backribs, spareribs, riblets, ribtips and rib pieces. We offer fully cooked and sauced products in either bulk or retail packaging. Additionally, we also carry a unique retail package concept with our new "Bucket O' Ribs". The shelf life for our products is one year and ninety days fresh. We do not cook in the bag (where the fat is retained) as many other processors do. The method of cooking we use results in a very tender, fall off the bone, lean rib product. Our main sauce is hickory based, however we do produce many other flavors for various customers. We have the ability to formulate a custom sauce to meet your requirements.
